The Goal
Design a DEZIGN website that is user friendly by providing clear navigation and offering conversations.
Summary
A responsive networking website for designers. The typical users are creatives from various fields. It is goal is to provide a platform for sharing their work as well as socializing.
I conducted user interviews, which I turned into empathy maps to better understand the target user and their needs. I discovered that many target users treat design websites as an art exhibition and they wanted more than just that. As well as most design websites are overwhelming and confusing to navigate, which frustrated many target users.

Building the Site Map
Building the effective site map required understanding the content, user needs, and the major goals resulting in this cohesive organised website layout.

Moving the ideas from paper to digital made it easy to understand the redesign could help address user pain points and improve user experience.

Our target users shared that they can’t wait for the final product to be accessible on the web as it was easy to navigate through, more engaging with images and clear visual hierarchy
What I learned:
Always focusing on user needs helps improve your design as well as user experience.
